Description

We are hiring for an Innovation Project Manager. The Innovation Project Manager plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and ensuring the successful development and launch of new products. This position demands heavy collaboration with Functional Areas (Operations, R&D, Mkt) to align product development with production capabilities, streamline processes, and ensure smooth execution. The role also fosters cross-functional communication to secure established timelines.


Key Responsibilities


Project Management:

  • Establish clear timelines and prioritize implementing new products with input from R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
  • Collaborate with Functional Areas (Operations, R&D, Mkt, and the Innovation Team) to build challenging and feasible timelines to develop innovative products
  • Coordinate PMOs across departments to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner extensively with Functional Areas (Operations, R&D, Mkt, and the Innovation Team) to ensure seamless alignment between product innovation, production capabilities, merchandising materials, etc.
  • Participate in regular meetings with Functional Areas to provide updates on innovation initiatives and address potential operational impacts.

Sales Support:

  • Provide sales teams with updated innovation information, and share updated information for innovation launching.
  • Ensure vendor set-ups are completed accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in a role requiring significant collaboration with Functional Teams (Operations or Manufacturing teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge gaps between Marketing, R&D, Operations, and Sales partners.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with USDA processes and requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a Product Development and Operations-oriented mindset.
