Account Representative – Field Sales Northern Ontario

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role:

As a Core Sales Representative for its Personal Safety Division (PSD) located in northern Ontario, primarily Sudbury to Sault Ste. Marie to Timmins, and surrounding area , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Driving sales growth within territory with new and existing end-user customers
  • Conducting training presentations to customers and channel partners, educating industrial professionals, and promoting 3M solutions
  • Collaborating with Marketing and Technical teams to assist with market research, new product launches, and promotional projects
  • Personal development- product and regulatory knowledge through self-study and corporate training programs

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with ten (10) years sales and/or marketing experience sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution with Three (3) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment

AND

  • Current, valid Driver’s License

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's degree in Health and Safety, Sales from an accredited institution

  • Five (5) years of Sales in a private, public, government or military environment

  • Presentation skills, written and verbal communication, business planning, sales

Work location:

  • Work location:  Northern Ontario

Travel: May include up to 80%domestic

Relocation: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
