Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experience in resolving customer complaints and problems; ability to manage time-sensitive and high-pressure situations without supervision
  • MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word proficient; strong numerical, written, and verbal communication and reasoning skills
  • Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience; SAP experience; Salesforce experience; Reporting, database manipulation and/or VBA is a plus

Requirements:

  • Manage OE orders for Commercial Seating Furniture, acting as the primary contact; verify order details (part numbers, quantities, pricing, shipping) and process/monitor all customer issues from initiation to closure using CRM and ERP systems
  • Work with various departments to ensure required information and support is provided to resolve customer issues; ensure timely and accurate flow-downs to supply chain, shipping, quality, and other stakeholders
  • Achieve all key performance indicators and participate in continuous improvement initiatives; address inquiries on order status, pricing, delivery, cancellations, and returns
  • Adhere to EHS practices across the site and participate in safety-related activities; be prepared to take on small projects as directed by management

Primary Responsibilities:

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers. Digest large amounts of data quickly, deal with ambiguity, be decision-oriented, a quick learner and open minded

Manage OE orders for Commercial Seating & Furniture, acting as the primary contact.

Process and monitor all customer issues and concerns, from initiation to closure using a combination of CRM and ERP systems

Verify order details: part numbers, quantities, pricing, and shipping info.

Work closely with various departments within the organization to ensure required information and support is provided to resolve customer issues

Ensuring all necessary flow-downs to supply chain, shipping, quality, and other stakeholders are communicated timely and accurately

Achieve all key performance indicators and achieve best in class performance

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Address inquiries on order status, pricing, delivery, cancellations, and returns.

Responsible for small projects as directed and guided by management and senior colleagues by applying knowledge and experience from previous roles

Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree

OR in the absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required

Experience in resolving customer complaints and problems

MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word proficient

Strong numerical, written, and verbal communication and reasoning skills

Experience analyzing and troubleshooting challenging and uncommon scenarios

Ability to manage time-sensitive and high-pressure situations without supervision

Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience

SAP experience

Salesforce experience

Reporting, database manipulation and/or VBA is a plus

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm

Saturday and Sunday - Rest day

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.]

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
