We are looking for a highly competent and proactive In-House Legal Counsel to oversee the company’s legal affairs, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic legal guidance across various business functions.
The In-House Legal Counsel will be responsible for managing the company’s legal matters, including contracts, corporate registrations, labor and compliance concerns, documentation, HMO/legal support matters, and representation of the company and its team members when necessary.
This role will work closely with leadership, HR, finance, operations, and external agencies to protect the company’s interests while ensuring legal compliance and operational efficiency.
Draft, review, revise, and manage contracts, agreements, MOAs, NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, and other legal documents
Ensure all contracts comply with Philippine laws and company policies
Provide legal advice on contract risks, obligations, and liabilities
Maintain and organize legal records and documentation
Handle business registrations, renewals, permits, licenses, and regulatory filings
Ensure compliance with SEC, BIR, DOLE, LGU, and other government requirements
Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect company operations
Coordinate with external legal counsel and government agencies when necessary
Advise management and HR on labor laws, employee relations, disciplinary actions, and compliance matters
Assist in resolving labor disputes, complaints, and legal concerns involving team members
Represent the company in legal proceedings, hearings, mediations, or negotiations when required
Help strengthen company policies and internal legal processes
Provide legal oversight related to HMO agreements, claims, and compliance matters
Support the company and team members in legal-related concerns connected to employment and benefits
Coordinate with HMO providers and external partners regarding disputes or legal clarifications
Identify legal risks and recommend practical business solutions
Protect the company’s intellectual property, confidential information, and business interests
Provide legal guidance to leadership on operational and strategic decisions
Support audits, investigations, and internal compliance initiatives
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD)
Must be a member in good standing of the Philippine Bar
At least 3–5 years of legal experience, preferably in corporate or in-house practice
Strong knowledge of Philippine labor law, corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance
Experience handling business registrations and government transactions
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage confidential information
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Experience in outsourcing, staffing, or remote work industry
Familiarity with HMO/legal employee benefits concerns
Experience representing companies in labor or administrative proceedings
