Your mission and impact
As Senior Finance & Accounting Lead you won't just do accounting, or FP&A, you’ll be hands on with a mix of both. You'll own the annual audit end-to-end, work on revenue recognition, manage external advisors, and build the automated workflows that free up the whole team to focus on what matters.

What you'll be doing
- Lead the end-to-end financial accounting process, ensuring precision in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Assist with financial modelling, budgeting, and board-level reporting to support long-term business goals.
- Design and implement scalable financial systems and internal controls that enhance efficiency.
- Manage tax filings, statutory audits, and regulatory requirements to keep the business ahead of the curve.
- Collaborate across departments to provide financial clarity and support data-driven decision-making.
What you'll bring
- 3–6 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably including time at a public accounting firm
- Strong technical accounting background: you're comfortable with topics such as revenue recognition (IFRS 15 / ASC 606), ESOP accounting, accruals, deferred expenses.
- Exposure to FP&A responsibilities: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis.
- Advanced Google Sheets and/or Excel skills; you build formulas and automate workflows, not just fill in cells.
Nice to have:
- Dutch language skills.
- Knowledge of Dutch GAAP.
- Chartered Accountant (RA/ACA/ACCA) qualification, or actively working towards one.
Our preference is for this role to be based in CET +/-2. Unfortunately at this moment we cannot accept applications from France, Spain, Belgium and Switzerland.
