Manager, Surgical Field Sales

As a Manager, Surgical Field Sales supporting our Surgical Sales & Sales Support team, you will lead key customer accounts and guide our sales team to deliver exceptional commercial results across your region. You will build strong relationships with eye care professionals, drive growth of our surgical portfolio, and ensure customers experience the full value of Alcon’s innovative technologies.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborating with key customer accounts to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that strengthen long‑term partnerships

  • Leading sales strategy execution across assigned accounts to achieve revenue, volume, and value growth targets

  • Demonstrating Alcon’s latest technologies to surgeons and clinical teams to support adoption and utilization

  • Preparing and negotiating commercial contracts while ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards

  • Coaching and developing a high‑performing sales team through training, performance management, and ongoing support

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON

  • Degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field

  • Experience in medical device sales management; experience in ophthalmology is preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing teams

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and demonstrate complex surgical equipment

  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and lead others toward shared goals

  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English
