Scope/Position Summary

The Case Management/Social Work Educator position is responsible for providing personalized education by designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating classroom and clinical instruction to support the orientation, ongoing educational needs and professional development of Case managers (CM) and Social Workers (SW). The CM/SW Educator functions as an educational consultant within the Health System, working with teams, including Nursing Staff Development, to cultivate collaboration, enthusiasm, and mutual respect.  The CM/SW Educator will have a clear understanding and knowledge of the role and expectations of the CM and SW roles across the Health System.  The CM/SW Educator will also continue to fulfill responsibilities in the role to stay current with all facets of the role as well as with changes in government and payer guidelines and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Social Work. Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Independent Social Worker, or Licensed Independent Social Worker - Supervisor. Two years in nurse educator, care management, or social work required. Staff development training experience is preferred.
