Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare-related field or equivalent experience; less than 1 year of related experience.

Requirements:

  • Support Medical Policy Directors (MPD) in New Policy processes by preparing presentations, decision matrices, and pulling BO/Tableau/BI/PM reports; ensure policies include all appropriate claim types and LOBs, avoid conflicts, and submit Medicaid conflict reviews when appropriate.
  • Perform data and report analytics; determine applicable BO reports, run analyses, and provide accurate client or policy information based on thorough report analytics.
  • Create, modify, and format Web Intelligence (Webi) reports for ad hoc purposes, including parameter specification, analysis, and summarizing findings to the client; research client questions and draft accurate responses.
  • Actively participate in team, department, and cross-functional meetings; complete performance goals and special projects; support a compliant and confidential remote work environment.

Overview:

The Client Service Analyst (CSA) role ensures adequate support for the client-facing team on coding and policy as well as operational related activities. The CSA must be familiar with the day-to-day activities of the Medical Policy Director (MPD) and client-facing Medical Directors.

Responsibilities:
  • Supports Medical Policy Directors (MPD) through various aspects of the New Policy processes:
    • Marks policies provided by the MPD to ready to present in CPW , Generates New Policy Presentations, the associated decision matrices, and pulls all Business Objects (BO), Tableau and/or BI and Presentation Manager (PM) reports for .
    • Ensures policies selected for presentation include all appropriate claim types and LOB
    • Ensures there are no conflicts with mutually exclusive decision points.
    • Submits a request to Medicaid Research for conflict review when appropriate
    • Assists in formatting New Policy Presentation documents for client presentation by the MPD and/or Medical Director.
  • Performs multi-faceted data and report analytics. Determines the applicable BO reports to run based on the client team inquiry.  Analyzes the report output and provides accurate client or policy information based on thorough report analytics.
  • Generates, modifies, and formats Web Intelligence (Webi) reports for ad hoc purposes which includes determining the necessary parameters and building the report, performing analysis and summarizes findings to the client team.
  • Researches and examines client questions and drafts an accurate response to the client.
  • Actively participates in team, department, business unit, and corporate meetings.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • B.S., B.A, in business or healthcare related field, or equivalent experience preferred. Requires less than 1 year of related experience.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This remote role can be located anywhere in the continental US.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance. No adverse environmental conditions expected.

Base compensation ranges from $20.75 to $24.75 per hour. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

 

Nonexempt employees are eligible to receive overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a given week, or as otherwise required by applicable state law.
