About the role
We are looking for an experienced Pega Developer to join a new project and support the design, development, configuration, testing, and delivery of Pega Platform solutions.
The role involves working with business stakeholders, architects, QA, DevOps, security, and delivery teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable Pega applications. The specialist will take ownership of moderately complex Pega components, workflows, integrations, and configuration areas while contributing to high-quality delivery and technical best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, develop, test, and troubleshoot Pega Platform solutions using App Studio and Dev Studio
- Build and maintain case types, flows, assignments, SLAs, data pages, validations, decision rules, UI components, and reusable rules
- Implement and support integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, SQL, connectors, services, and authentication profiles
- Configure data objects, data transforms, reports, decision tables, correspondence, and business rules
- Support UI implementation using Constellation, Theme Cosmos, portals, views, sections, or other relevant Pega UI approaches
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, guardrail reviews, deployment validation, and defect resolution
- Troubleshoot issues using Tracer, Clipboard, Live UI, logs, alerts, and performance tools
- Contribute to release activities, CI/CD processes, deployment packages, and environment validation
- Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge sharing across the team
- Mentor junior and mid-level Pega engineers and promote consistent Pega delivery practices
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Pega Platform development, BPM, low-code enterprise application development, or software engineering
- Hands-on experience with Pega Platform / PRPC, App Studio, and Dev Studio
- Strong understanding of Pega case management, workflows, rule types, class hierarchy, rulesets, and reusable component design
- Experience with data pages, data transforms, validations, reports, decision rules, and UI configuration
- Practical experience with REST/SOAP integrations, APIs, JSON/XML, SQL, and enterprise integration patterns
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Understanding of Pega security practices, access groups, roles, privileges, authentication, and data protection principles
- Experience with testing, deployment, versioning, branches, product rules, CI/CD, and release support
- Ability to work effectively in Agile teams with cross-functional stakeholders
- Intermediate or higher English level
- Pega CSA certification is strongly preferred; CSSA/PCSSA or related certifications are a plus
