Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a fast-paced environment; Life Sciences industry experience is a plus.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) certification required; additional certifications such as ADM 211 or Platform App Builder are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, data management and integration techniques; experience with Salesforce Clouds (Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) a plus.

Requirements:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related user issues, managing incoming support requests and tickets through to resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user questions, system errors, and configuration issues in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Configure, customize, and maintain Salesforce CRM for multiple departments including Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Scientific Affairs; design and implement custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, approval processes, and process builder flows.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to monitor key business metrics, perform data audits, and support data quality and Master Data Management across Salesforce and integrated systems.

 Location: (Remote U.S. – except AK,  HI, NM, ND, SD, RI, VT)   


SUMMARY 

The Salesforce Analyst is responsible for the daily support and maintenance of BioIVT’s Salesforce environment. General responsibilities include ticket management, system configuration, end-user training, and data governance across Salesforce CRM and integrated systems. This role also contributes to new projects and system enhancements, ensuring alignment with business goals and data integrity standards. 

This position will ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, State Departments of Health, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), EMEA and FDA Guidelines, general State and Country Regulations such as but not limited to (CLIA, CAP, USP, ISO 9001, USDA regulations, HTA license, DEA and State Controlled Substance programs) where site appropriate. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related user issues, managing incoming support requests and tickets through to resolution. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user questions, system errors, and configuration issues in a timely and thorough manner. 
  • Support Salesforce-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. 
  • Maintain user accounts, permissions, roles, profiles, and security settings in Salesforce. 
  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular data audits to identify issues, inaccuracies, or discrepancies that may impact end-user productivity, initiating corrective actions as needed. 
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to support data cleansing initiatives, especially during company acquisitions and integrations. 
  • Perform Master Data Management tasks to ensure BioIVT data accuracy across Salesforce, Sage X3, and other integrated systems, including reviewing and validating customer data related to mergers, acquisitions, and other business changes. 
  • Configure, customize, and maintain CRM (Salesforce) for various departments including Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Scientific Affairs. 
  • Design and implement custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, approval processes, and process builder flows. 
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to monitor key business metrics, track data quality measures, and provide visibility into data integrity issues and improvement efforts. 
  • Provide training and support to end users on data entry standards, data governance practices, and system best practices to promote consistent and accurate data management. 
  • Stay informed about Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and recommend system enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS  

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  

Education and/or Experience  

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.  
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) from four-year college or university; or high school graduate with five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in biological or chemical science field preferred.   
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a fast-paced environment.  Life Sciences Industry experience is a plus.  
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and capabilities, with experience in data management and data integration techniques.  
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.  
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.  
  • Experience with Salesforce Clouds (Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) and/or Agentforce, Salesforce CPQ, other is a plus. 


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required 

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) certification required; additional certifications such as Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (ADM 211) or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder (Platform Developer I) are a plus. 

 Other Skills and Abilities 

  • Proficiency in a variety of computer software programs including MS Office   
  • CRM experience.  
  • Detail-Oriented and multitasking skills.
