  • Lab Technician 

    Position Summary 

    This role is a remote position and reports to the Head of Product Design on the Concept Team at Analog Devices. 

    Required Qualifications 

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field. 

    • 2-3 years of experience working in a technical environment. 

    Responsibilities & Core Competencies 

    • Demonstrated technical aptitude and hands-on experience helping to build and assembly mechanical devices. 

    • Knowledge of 3D printing, how to create parts, clean support materials, troubleshoot machine technical issues, order consumables and components from various vendors online. 

    • Ability to set up and run tests and create technical reports. 

    Technical Tools 

    • 2D/3D CAD experience a plus. 

    • Ability to read and understand complex 2D speciation drawings. 

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. 

    Location: Chicago area, with close proximity to and the ability to commute to Oak Park, IL as needed. 

    Work Hours 

    Part-Time to Full-time position working 20-40+ hours per week with flexible scheduling; evening and weekend work may be required based on project urgency and deadlines. 

    Travel 

    Regular local travel.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $31 to $43.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
