Summary of Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to lead the migration of reporting and dashboards, applying extensive experience in data visualization, analytics, and enterprise reporting. This role will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, IT, and data engineering teams to ensure a smooth transition that enhances self-service analytics, governance, and business insights.

At this time, we are considering candidates based in Argentina only.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Migration Leadership: Lead the conversion of workbooks, dashboards, and data models ensuring functional and visual parity while optimizing for performance and scalability.

  • Requirements Gathering: Partner with business stakeholders to identify critical reports, KPIs, and dashboards for migration, while validating business logic during the transition.

  • Data Modeling & Transformation: Build and optimize data models (Star/Snowflake schemas, DAX measures, calculated columns, relationships) to support enterprise reporting needs.

  • Performance Tuning: Optimize datasets, queries, and report performance while ensuring efficiency in handling large data volumes.

  • Governance & Security: Apply role-based access controls, row-level security, and governance best practices to align with enterprise data strategy.

  • Documentation & Training: Document migration processes, data definitions, and dashboards. Provide training and support to business teams.

  • Quality Assurance: Validate report accuracy and consistency by reconciling outputs against source systems.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance visualization standards, streamline reporting processes, and promote self-service analytics adoption.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of work experience, training, or education.

  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools which may include advanced Tableau dashboard development.

  • Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying dashboards, reports, and data models. Power BI experience may be required.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into effective visualizations and KPIs.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders; excellent documentation and presentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and ELT concepts. Ability to create efficient queries and optimize performance.

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Services (Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Azure Data Factory).

  • Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.

  • Knowledge of DAX optimization techniques, Power Query (M language), and performance tuning at scale.

  • Background in healthcare, finance, or regulated industries where compliance and governance are critical.

  • Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics or automation.

  • Experience developing Power BI governance frameworks (workspaces, pipelines, deployment practices).
