Roles & Responsibilities

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (specializing in Fluid Mechanics/Hydraulics or Thermodynamics) or Mining/Process Engineering, or equivalent flow-control experience (equipment selection, customer-facing and industry-related).
  • Experience in technical proposals, client interactions, and translating requirements into sales of valves and system products.
  • Experience with equipment selection, customer-facing roles, and industry-related activities in flow control; willingness to travel to sites and provide regional support.
  • Strong knowledge of the valves and flow-control industry, including project timing and market development.

Requirements:

  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: provide technical proposals and client interactions to translate requirements into sales of valves and system products, with regional onsite support as needed.
  • Strategic Planning and Market Development: lead planning and initiatives to grow regional opportunities and market presence.
  • Customer and Industry Engagement: actively engage with customers and industry stakeholders to understand needs and foster relationships.
  • Product Development, Compliance, and Mentorship with Safety First: contribute to product development and ensure compliance while mentoring others and maintaining a 100% commitment to zero-harm safety culture.

Purpose of Role: The Product Sales Specialist will be responsible for technical proposals and client interaction, so far as required as to translate into the sale of valves and system products. Deep knowledge of the industry, its clients and the timing of projects will be required. The successful individual will be comfortable going to the site and supporting on a regional level as well.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: (Add MAX 4 bullets of desired eligibility requirements)
· Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above, preferably a degree in Mechanical engineering (specializing in Fluid Mechanics/Hydraulics or Thermodynamics) or a degree in Mining/other Process engineering or equivalent work experience in flow control (equipment selection, customer-facing and industry-related experience).
