As a District Sales Manager you would be responsible for performing sales management tasks related to the product Mounjaro in a given geographical area, achieving sales goals through the implementation of the drug's strategy. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Achieving sales targets, participating in plan distribution and spatial planning 

  • Optimize Customer Targeting Strategy by continuously reviewing and updating customer target lists to ensure strategic alignment, maintaining a balanced mix of regular (core) and dynamic (growth/opportunity) customers 

  • Implementing the activities defined in the marketing plan and coordinating it from the sales side 

  • Defining the framework of the sales process and adhering to the set goals (SPP) 

  • Creating sales forecasts, analyzing sales data 

  • Managing the work of medical visitors working in the field on a team and individual level, coaching, developing, motivating and evaluating representatives 

  • Participation in the work of a multi-functional brand team based on cooperation 

  • Managing the sales budget, adhering to the defined limits 

  • Liaising with other functional units (marketing, finance, compliance, market research, medical department, etc.) 

  • Participation in the Customer Dialogue Planning process 

  • Ad-hoc participation in projects and coordination of projects as needed 

  • Participation in the selection process of new employees 

  • Coach sales representatives in the field 

  • Role model best practices (i.e. message delivery, product knowledge, etc.); 

  • Provide recommendations to area management team on merit increases/promotions and communicate the decision to sales representatives 

  • Identify training needs and develop a training plan 

  • Model Lilly values 

  • Inspire and motivate sales representatives  

  • Build team synergy within and across team 

  • Address important problems and difficult issues 

  • Plan and conduct motivational district meetings 

Required education, training, professional experience :

  • Higher education (commercial, medical, pharmaceutical or health) 

  • Pharmaceutical or FMCG sales experience
