Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bakery technology background with practical understanding and experience with bakery enzymes
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience; proven project management skills and ability to drive new business through cross-functional coordination
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and negotiation skills; valid driving license; additional language is a plus
  • Customer-centric, self-motivated, able to work independently within a global organization

Requirements:

  • Cultivate and develop relationships with targeted existing and potential bakery customers in Turkey to position IFF as the preferred supplier
  • Provide technical and commercial solutions for customer-driven projects and manage opportunities and pricing negotiations in Salesforce/Om system
  • Identify market trends and convert opportunities into new business to grow bakery enzymes market share; develop long-term sales plans aligned with category strategy
  • Promote IFF at conferences, tradeshows and industry seminars; collaborate with internal teams (Applications, Product Management) on projects, pricing and market developments

Are you ready to take your technical skills to the next level? We are looking for a talented Technical Sales Manager to join our IFF Food Biosciences sales organization in Turkey (Istanbul)! 



We're looking for a candidate with proven skills with enzymes in the Food & Beverage and most importantly the Bakery industry. This position offers an exciting role with a lot of potential in a dynamic and strong industry.

Role Scope: Mission

The aim is to grow our enzymes business at targeted food customers in Turkey, primarily within the bakery industry. You will be reporting to the Sales Leader Europe for Food & Beverage Enzymes and you will be supported by the Food Enzymes business group which includes Communications, Marketing, Product Management, Applications, R&D, Operations and Finance to achieve our common goals.

Where You'll Make a Difference

  • Being First Choice - Cultivate and develop relationships with targeted existing and potential customers to promote IFF as the preferred supplier
  • Offer technical and commercial solutions to customer driven projects 
  • Identify and evaluate new market trends/opportunities and develop these opportunities in new business to grow the company’s market share within the bakery industry - manage these opportunities within our Salesforce.Om system
  • Ensure prices & conditions negotiations
  • Support IFF’s strategy for growth linked to primarily bakery enzymes 
  • Develop long-term sales plans for key customers and accounts, monitor and adapt sales activities that these objectives are met in accordance with IFF’s category strategy
  • Actively promote the company profile at conferences, tradeshows and industry seminars
  • Keep and establish contact to internal departments like Application and Product Management on relevant projects, pricing, market developments etc.

  • You are a professional with a bakery technology background having a solid practical understanding and experiences with bakery enzymes
  • You like to work independently, being self-motivated but also understand how to function in a larger organization and the importance of reaching common business goals – a high degree of team spirit is a prerequisite 
  • You prove project management skills where full ownership of driving new business opportunities is demonstrated by coordinating all team members to achieve business objectives
  • You are customer centric and open-minded
  • You have a minimum of 3 years working experience
  • You are fluent in English language and have a valid driving license
