SOFTGAMES is looking for an experienced Freelance Gaming Talent Sourcer to support our People team with active candidate sourcing and direct outreach. This is a freelance role (not in-house employment), focused on identifying and engaging top talent, primarily within the gaming industry, ideally with experience in casual games.
*This is part-time (20 hours/week) with a fixed contract limited to 3-6 months.
**Qualified candidates will be expected to complete a skills assessment as part of the selection process.
Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, portfolios, communities, and other relevant channels
Conduct direct outreach and first-touch candidate engagement
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future roles
Collaborate closely with the People team to understand role requirements and target profiles
Track outreach activities and candidate responses in our ATS / shared tools
Provide feedback on talent market insights and sourcing effectiveness
Proven experience as a Talent Sourcer or Recruiter with a strong sourcing focus
Solid background in the gaming industry particularly in casual games
Demonstrated success in direct outreach and passive candidate engagement
Strong LinkedIn sourcing skills and familiarity with creative / tech gaming profiles
Comfortable working independently in a freelance setup, while collaborating closely with an internal team
Clear, professional, and respectful communication style
Freelance contract (not an in-house position)
