System Engineer | Pharma (100% Remote from Spain or Portugal)

We are looking for a "System Engineer" to support the installation, maintenance, and optimization of application systems within a technical environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring system availability, performance, and reliability, while contributing to continuous improvements and supporting operational activities. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency and stability.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES 🚀:

• Install, configure, test, and maintain application software and components.

• Ensure high availability and performance of systems and infrastructure.

• Monitor and analyze application performance, identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions.

• Collaborate with developers to implement performance improvements and fixes.

• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.

• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.

• Provide technical support when required.

• Develop and maintain basic scripts (e.g., LUA) for application support and automation.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Proven experience as a System Engineer or similar role.

• Experience with application stacks and system administration (Windows, Linux, MongoDB).

• Scripting skills (Shell, LUA, Python).

• Knowledge of APIs and system integrations.

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (OSI, TCP/IP).

• Knowledge of OPC protocols.

• Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environments.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

SCHEDULE 🕘:

• 08/09h -17/18h from Monday to Friday (flexible)

• 100% Remote from Spain or Portugal
