  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field.
  • 3+ years of related professional liability and/or life and health insurance experience with a demonstrated track record of sales or sales leadership success, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Property and Casualty insurance license in good standing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface with both technical and business teams at all levels; industry professional designations desired (e.g., CIC, CPCU, CRM, ARM, CISR).

Requirements:

  • Lead, manage, and develop a multi-channel Property and Casualty sales staff to achieve monthly and annual sales goals; monitor, manage, and report activity and production for all Account Executives; assign performance goals; conduct performance appraisals and corrective actions; approve time off requests and bi-weekly timecards.
  • Collaborate with IT and other department managers on system enhancements, definition of user requirements, monitoring system performance, issue resolution, and system audits.
  • Coordinate and manage risk management seminars and leads programs; represent Pearl Insurance at trade shows, conventions, and conferences; coordinate with Marketing to create and distribute targeted marketing campaigns; oversee sales initiatives and contests with the Vice President and Managers.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, building networks, benchmarking best practices, and participating in professional societies.

Job description

The Insurance Sales Supervisor in this role is directly responsible for managing a multi-channel Property and Casualty sales staff towards the achievement of monthly and annual sales goals. Maximizes sales and profitability while training and developing the sales team.

Your Impact:

  • Monitor, manage, and report activity and production output for all Account Executives to ensure annual sales goals are met or exceed.
  • Manage, coach, train, and provide guidance to the Account Executive team; review and approve time off requests and approve bi-weekly timecards; assign performance goals; write and deliver performance appraisals and corrective action.
  • Collaborate with IT and other department managers on system enhancements, implementations, etc.; define user requirements; monitor system performance; identify and resolve issues; conduct system audits.
  • Coordinate and manage various Risk Management seminars and Leads program(s).
  • Represent Pearl Insurance at trade shows, conventions, and conferences as needed.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to create and distribute new targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate and manage sales initiatives and contests with the Vice President and Managers.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge; attend educational workshops; review professional publications; establish personal networks; benchmark state-of-the-art practices; participate in professional societies.

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.
  • 3+ years of related professional liability and/or life and health insurance experience with a demonstrated track record of sales or sales leadership success; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interface with both technical and business team members at all levels within an organization.
  • Property and Casualty insurance license in good standing is required.
  • Industry professional designations desired (i.e. – CIC, CPCU, CRM, ARM, CISR).

In addition to the pay range listed below, this role is eligible for a monthly compensation plan.

Pay Range:

$44,000 - $65,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
