DIGITAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

 

Position Summary

The Digital Account Manager supports the development and execution of digital fundraising campaigns for FNY’s nonprofit clients. This role focuses on managing day-to-day campaign activities across email, paid media, SMS and web, with an emphasis on donor acquisition, retention, and engagement.

This position is ideal for a developing strategist with strong project management and client communication skills who can collaborate across teams and contribute to performance-driven campaigns.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution & Support
    • Support the implementation of digital fundraising campaigns across email, paid media (search, social, programmatic), websites, and SMS.
    • Assist in coordinating digital efforts with direct mail and broader multichannel fundraising initiatives.
    • Contribute to campaign planning and execution aligned with client goals and timelines.
  • Client Management & Communication
    • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned client accounts, supporting communication, reporting, and deliverables.
    • Help manage timelines, budgets, and expectations with guidance from senior team members.
    • Identify opportunities for optimization and testing based on campaign performance.
  • Team & Project Coordination
    • Coordinate with internal teams (creative, data, tech, paid media) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of campaign assets.
    • Support quality assurance and ensure all deliverables meet client and agency standards.
    • Assist with email setup and deployment as needed.
  • Performance & Reporting
    • Monitor campaign performance and assist in reporting on key metrics.
    • Analyze results and contribute insights to improve future campaign performance.
    • Stay informed on trends in digital media and nonprofit fundraising.
  • Qualifications
    • 4–6 years of experience in digital marketing, fundraising, or account management, preferably in an agency or nonprofit environment.
    • Experience supporting integrated digital campaigns across email, paid media, and web.
    • Familiarity with direct response marketing principles and donor engagement strategies.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
    • Comfort working with data and campaign performance metrics.
  • Desired Skills & Tools
    • Experience with CRM, email, and donation platforms such as Salesforce, MailChimp, Blackbaud, or Fundraise Up.
    • Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics (GA4).
    • Basic understanding of Google Tag Manager and reporting tools.
    • Working knowledge of SEOand AEO best practices.

Location This is a remote position. Preference will be given to candidates based in New York City, with occasional in-person collaboration and periodic travel as needed.
