Property Meld's mission is to radically improve how the property management industry handles property maintenance through our Intelligent Maintenance platform. If you've ever had a maintenance issue at your rental, you know how much of a pain it can be to get fixed. It doesn't have to be this way.
We're rethinking the entire experience to drive maintenance cost to the minimum and make residents and owners want to stay with their property manager, not leave. We're adding a Senior Product Designer to own complex, cross-surface design work that ships on time and moves the business.
The Senior Product Designer role is about turning ambiguous, cross-functional product problems into designs that ship, improve measurable outcomes, and raise the quality bar for the team. You walk into a messy problem, pull in the right people, frame the real question, and drive it to a decision. You design within systems and improve them as you go.
A successful Senior Product Designer owns delivery of complex work with minimal risk, defines success metrics before build, and partners deeply with PM and Engineering so there are no surprises at handoff.
The salary range for this position is $135-140k
Candidates MUST be eligible for full-time employment in the United States.
The product team at Property Meld is a remote-work organization. We require 6 hours of overlap time, daily, with the Mountain Time Zone. The position is remote, with an expectation of 2 company headquarter visits per year. Once a year, the total company gets together for a week of getting to know each other and to better understand the big picture of the company and how we work in each department and role, and once a year we gather for our MX Summit, where you’ll mingle with customers and deepen your industry knowledge
Two times per year the product team gets together in the same physical location to get to know each other better and work through interesting challenges together. In addition, once a quarter, on your schedule, you are expected to visit with a customer and shadow them learning how they are using and not using our product.
