The LifeVest wearable cardioverter defibrillator is worn by patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), providing protection during their changing condition and while permanent SCA risk has not been established. The device is designed to allow a patient’s physician time to assess their long-term arrhythmic risk and make appropriate plans. It is lightweight and easy to wear, allowing patients to return to their activities of daily living, while having the peace of mind that they are protected from SCA. The LifeVest continuously monitors the patient’s heart and, if a life-threatening heart rhythm is detected, the device delivers a treatment shock to restore normal heart rhythm without bystander intervention.

who fit and train patients in handling their LifeVest based on individual orders and under individual arrangements.

Ideally applicants should fulfill these requirements:

• Completed apprenticeship (e.g. as Medical Assistant, Nurse, Rescue Paramedic), alternatively ongoing studies in medical or healthcare sector
• Empathic and people-oriented  
• Ability to comprehend quickly and an independent, structured way of working
• You are flexible in terms of time
• You have a valid driver’s license and own a car
• You are self-employed with a registered business
• Fluency in Hebrew and English is essential; Arabic would be beneficial but not required

You can expect an interesting, self-employed task in line with an attractive compensation on a case by case fee basis.
