About the role:
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to manage social media and website optimization for our client’s diverse portfolio. The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical marketer with experience in social media strategy, website management, and high-level content creation.
Beyond standard posting, you will be responsible for Account Management support, performing digital audits, and designing promotional email campaigns. You must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of executing content that drives engagement while maintaining a professional brand voice across all platforms.
Experience working in digital marketing agencies is a plus.
What you’ll be doing:
Social Media Management: Regularly creating, designing (via Canva), and scheduling engaging content. This includes basic video editing and maintaining excellent grammar across all posts.
Content & Copywriting: Authoring high-quality press releases, blogs, newsletters, and promotional emails that resonate with target audiences.
Digital Auditing: Conducting and authoring digital audits to identify growth opportunities and refine client strategies.
Website & Directory Management: Performing basic edits on WordPress, Wix, and Shopify. Managing Google Business Listings and Yelp to ensure accuracy and conversion optimization.
SEO Optimization: Enhancing on-page SEO (meta tags, alt text, site structure) and monitoring site speed and user experience.
Account Support: Assisting the supervisor with essential account management tasks and special projects as assigned.
Who are we looking for?
2+ years of experience in social media management, website optimization, or digital marketing.
Proficiency in Canva for design and video editing capabilities.
Basic understanding of WordPress, Wix, and various social media scheduling tools.
Advanced English grammar and the ability to author professional blogs and press releases.
Experience working in a digital marketing agency is a significant plus.
Experience managing Google Business Listings, Yelp, and online directories.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
