As the Clinical Manager of 988 Crisis Services, you’ll play a pivotal leadership role in Washington’s 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline—guiding teams that provide immediate, trauma-informed support via phone, chat, and text to individuals across the state and beyond.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day clinical and operational leadership for the 988 Crisis Services team
  • Supervise and support a multidisciplinary workforce, fostering a culture of compassion, accountability, and excellence
  • Ensure high-quality crisis intervention services across phone, chat, and text platforms
  • Partner with the Clinical Director to implement new services, technology, and best practices
  • Use data and performance insights to strengthen service delivery and meet state and national standards
  • Support hiring, training, coaching, and professional development of clinical staff
  • Build strong relationships with internal programs and external partners statewide
Requirements

What We’re Looking For (Required)

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field
  • Independent or associate clinical licensure (e.g., LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) with ability to obtain Washington State licensure
  • Mental Health Professional (MHP) status in Washington or ability to obtain
  • 4–5+ years of leadership experience in behavioral health crisis services
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and comfort with technology in a remote environment

Preferred

  • Experience in contact centers, crisis lines, or telephonic/web-based services
  • Experience training or supervising staff in virtual and in-person settings

Work Details

  • Salary Range: $95,000–$105,000 
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
  • Location: Fully remote with occasional in-person meetings in Seattle
  • Eligible States: Must reside in Washington, Arizona, Texas, or Ohio
