  • 5+ years of progressive compensation experience in a global or multinational organization
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas and pivot tables) and experience with market pricing and compensation analysis
  • Working knowledge of Workday Compensation, reporting (including EIB preparation), and CCP coursework or certification (preferred)

Job Description

Overview

The Global Compensation Analyst will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and management of Compensation programs. This role will involve analyzing market trends, evaluating compensation structures, ensuring compliance, and providing recommendations to optimize the organization’s compensation strategy to attract, retain, and engage top talent.


Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Evaluate new and updated jobs; analyze job responsibilities and requirements and recommend internal grade, title and pay plans. 

  • Conduct frequent market pricing and compensation analysis to ensure pay levels adequately reflect market practices.  Communicate annual salary structure changes.

  • Conduct competitive pay analysis and make recommendations for individuals or groups.  Review offers; develop compensation packages for internal moves and external hires.

  • Support mass updates to Workday in preparation and testing of EIB loads, including ad hoc, bonus payments and mass pay changes. 

  • Perform reporting from market data system and HRIS; analyze internal and external data to identify anomalies and trends, and present findings to manager.

  • Develop clear and concise communications of compensation programs. Deliver program content to key stakeholders, to educate on program content, strategies, and policy/process.

  • Perform base pay and incentive forecasting to support financial planning.

  • Support the annual compensation review process in planning, communications, reporting and analysis.

  • Perform quarterly Workday Compensation data audits.

  • Ensure all global compensation programs comply with local, regional, and international laws and regulations. Track changes in legislation and make recommendations for program adjustments to mitigate risk.

Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Finance or related field.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in compensation at a global or multinational organization.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required, including formulas and pivot tables.

  • Demonstrated experience with market pricing and delivering internal and external compensation analysis.

  • Knowledge and experience with labor laws and regulations as it relates to compensation.

  • Working knowledge of Workday Compensation & Advanced Comp.  Experience in reporting & EIB preparation is highly preferred.

  • Certified Compensation Professional or Coursework towards obtaining a CCP preferred.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand business strategies, objectives and key performance metrics.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present to multiple levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality.
