Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to provide remote therapy services to clients across North Carolina. In this role, you will work with individuals, couples, and families through secure telehealth sessions, helping clients address relationship concerns, family conflict, life transitions, stress, anxiety, and other mental health needs. This is a full-time position with a consistent weekday schedule, clinical support, and the flexibility of working from home while still making a meaningful impact in clients’ lives.

Location: North Carolina
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy through a secure telehealth platform
  • Complete intake assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs
  • Support clients through relationship issues, family stressors, communication concerns, anxiety, depression, and life changes
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Use evidence-based therapy approaches appropriate for remote care
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Follow state, ethical, and privacy standards for telehealth services

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Active LMFT license in North Carolina in good standing
  • Previous clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
