Roles & Responsibilities

  • Federal and commercial/civilian program and contract experience in secure communications (audio, video, VTC, telephony, CCTV/surveillance, security monitoring, physical security systems, and communications networks/infrastructure) with demonstrated direct engagement with customers, projects, and industry partners.
  • Experience developing, managing, and enhancing efficiencies within project and program teams, including compliance, requirements, SLAs, and key performance parameters (KPIs).
  • Ability to evaluate contract and customer requirements with a thorough understanding of corporate policies and customer needs, plus strong compliance and risk mitigation capabilities.
  • Proficiency with electronic suites (Deltek Costpoint, Jira, Microsoft SharePoint) for end-to-end opportunity and contract management, real-time analytics, and workflow automation; experience supporting EOS/EOSL/LDOS planning.

Requirements:

  • Collaborate with Program and Project Managers within the Secure Communications portfolio to instill efficient processes, implement project monitoring and control, and generate regular project reporting.
  • Manage the Secure Communications CRM and pipeline, coordinating with managers and project leads to monitor, report, and track growth opportunities and initiatives.
  • Engage with corporate and functional support teams to drive initiatives from planning through execution, monitoring, reporting, and closing across functions such as talent acquisition, HR, procurement, supply chain, contracts, IT, and security.
  • Create and maintain weekly and monthly reports and artifacts that accurately reflect the status of portfolio actions, including manpower, accreditation status, pipeline/growth initiatives, and customer/partner collaboration actions; support and optimize the Secure Communications SharePoint portal and related training plans; assist with ISO/CMMI certification programs.

Description:

Tyto Athene is searching for a Secure Communication Account Manager to support a critical Secure Communications growth initiative within our business portfolio. This position will serve as a key component of the Secure Communications leadership team and will focus on driving program efficiencies, stimulating growth, increasing customer collaborations, and strengthening core relationships. The Account Manager works across the entire Secure Communications portfolio and serves as a critical conduit to Tyto’s functional support and strategic growth teams.   

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Program and Project Managers within the Secure Communications portfolio to instill and integrate effective and efficient processes, project monitoring and control, and project reporting. 
  • Manage the Secure Communications Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application, working directly with managers and project leads to managemonitor, and report our pipeline of growth opportunities and initiatives.  
  • Engage with corporate and Secure Communication’s functional support teams to drive initiatives from planning phases through execution, monitoring, reporting, and closing. Initiatives include actions across Tyto’s enterprise to include talent acquisition, human resources, procurement, supply chain, contracts, information technology, and security.  
  • Create and update weekly and monthly products and artifacts which accurately report the status of current actions occurring within the portfolio. Key reports include manpower and strength, accreditation/certification status, pipeline/growth initiatives, and customer/partner collaboration actions.   
  • Proactively manage and monitor core growth initiatives with PMs to shape opportunities, drive stage advancement from Identify through Proposal submission, and assist with monitoring and reporting the status of growth initiatives. 
  • Assist with the creation and management of our collaborative Secure Communications SharePoint portal to support cross-functional collaboration, artifact dissemination, and the sharing of key business unit directives, policies, and processes.  Create workflows and processes to ensure highly effective use of this critical shared resource.  
  • Participate in key corporate certification programs (such as ISO and CMMI). Assist project/program managers and certification/audit teams with planning for and executing core certification program initiatives. Track and monitor the status of accreditation initiatives and proactively collaborate with PMs to ensure requirements are being met. 
  • Assist our Product Development Specialist and Customer Service Team with planning, executing, and monitoring a comprehensive training plan for Secure Communication’s Engineers, Designers, Programmers, and Integrators which conforms to OEM training requirements (new products and existing products)partnership requirements, O&M/warranty requirements. Create and maintain alignment which supports our team member’s professional development while enhancing core capabilities within Secure Communications.  
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Secure Communications. 
Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Federal and commercial/civilian program and contract experience is required with demonstrated experience working directly with customersprojects, and industry partners within the field of secure communications (audio, video, VTC, telephony, closed-circuit television/surveillance systems, security monitoring, physical security systems, and communications networks/infrastructure).  
  • Experience developing, managing, and enhancing efficiencies within project and program teams to include compliance, requirements, service level agreements, and key performance parameters.  
  • Experience evaluating contract and customer requirements coupled with a thorough understanding of both corporate policies and customer needs. Strong understanding of compliance requirements with experience identifying, documenting, and creating/refining risk mitigation solutions.   
  • Experience working within electronic suites (such as Deltek’s Costpoint suiteJira, Microsoft SharePointfor end-to-end opportunity and contract management, compliance support, real-time analytics, and workflow automation.  
  • Experience working with product development teams and customers to create strategies revolving around End of Support (EOS), End of Service Life (EOSL), and Last Date of Support (LDOS) timelines.    
  • Experience leading teams through strategy, process, and initiative planning sessions to establish objectives, create goals, and proactively manage progress. 
  • Highly effective communication skills, both electronically and verbally.  
  • Highly effective use of Microsoft products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint. 
  • Self-managedhighly proactive, and goal-driven leadership style is required
