Role: Senior Engineer BASE24 EPS Starting Date: Immediately Contract: long term Work Place: São Paulo/SP (100% remote) Work Time: 9h00 to 18h00 Language: Enghish ans Spanish advanced is mandatory Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Base24 Engineer with strong expertise in payment processing systems, particularly within ACI Base24 environments. This professional will act as a technical owner of Base24 platforms, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement of mission-critical financial transaction systems. The role requires deep technical knowledge of Base24 architecture (EPS and Classic), NonStop environments, and payment authorization flows (ATM and POS), combined with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and external vendors in complex, multi-platform ecosystems. Key Qualifications • Solid understanding of Base24 EPS architecture and module structure • Experience with Base24 EPS scripting • Strong knowledge of Base24 Classic architecture • Expertise in ATM and POS authorization principles • Operational knowledge of WebGate product • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP) • Hands-on experience with NonStop tools: Batchcom, SCF, FUP, TACL, EMS commands and navigation • Knowledge of ACI NCPCOM utility (purpose, commands, and operational principles) • Experience with Base24 XPNET networking configuration • Programming experience in C++, C, and TAL • Strong skills in TACL macros and script development • Knowledge of SQL language and commands • Understanding of EMV standards, card verification, and PIN security concepts Key Responsibilities • Navigate and manage Base24 configuration structures using UI client tools • Act as technical advisor to business stakeholders, translating system capabilities into scalable solutions • Collaborate with external vendors to coordinate troubleshooting and resolve cross-platform issues • Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and third-party partners • Understand business drivers behind system changes and support strategic initiatives • Act as custodian and technical owner of Base24 installations • Monitor system health and proactively identify improvements to optimize operations • Provide technical guidance and lead resolution of critical production incidents in high-availability environments Further information will be given along the technical interview.
