You support sourcing for spend categories-including sourcing execution and stakeholder management-to maximize the total value of ownership for the organization. You also work closely with local business and global spend category teams to ensure best practice sharing and driving value for the organization.

You will take the lead in creating value through innovation, sustainability, risk management, quality, service, cash and productivity programs all while ensuring compliance with policies, strategies and processes. In addition, you will lead in the development and deployment of sourcing strategies and the ongoing management of supplier relationships, manage the supply base working internal and external stakeholders to ensure Mondelēz International’s competitive advantage, completely build a program with the business and suppliers that incorporates best practices, market insights, risks and opportunities, and set a clear vision for various areas, defining and delivering ambitious plans that encourage teams and stakeholders to engage not just in the destination, but also in the journey.

As a key member of our Corporate Professional Services (CPS) Global Sourcing team, you will lead and support strategic sourcing and value delivery initiatives across various CPS sub-categories regionally and/or globally. Your role will be instrumental in shaping sourcing strategies, enabling transformation, driving commercial excellence, and building process efficiencies in partnership with stakeholders and global category teams.

How you will contribute

In this high-impact role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing strategy and execution for one or more CPS sub-categories (e.g., consulting, HR services, contingent labor), delivering measurable value and stakeholder impact.
  • Develop and implement category strategies that align with business goals, transformation priorities, and key performance indicators—leveraging technology, data, and market insights.
  • Build strategic supplier relationships and manage performance, ensuring service quality, innovation, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive commercial excellence through structured negotiations, rate card / cost model  harmonization, contract optimization, and sustainable sourcing practices.
  • Proactively assess risks and opportunities across the supply base, ensuring business continuity and competitive advantage for MDLZ.
  • Partner with global and regional stakeholders to enable agile and effective decision-making, while ensuring procurement governance and policy compliance.
     

What you will bring

  • A strong desire to drive impact and elevate procurement’s role as a strategic business partner. You will bring:
  • 8–10 years of strategic sourcing experience, with deep expertise in professional services sourcing (Consulting and Contingent Workforce Management categories strongly preferred); CPG background is a plus.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of how procurement drives financial value and operational agility.
  • Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and supplier engagements with top-tier service providers.
  • A forward-looking mindset, with curiosity for digital solutions, market trends, and innovative sourcing models.
  • High organizational agility and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage and influence senior leaders across functions and regions.
  • Experience working in transformation-focused environments, with a demonstrated ability to balance structure and speed.
  • A consistent track record of modeling integrity, collaboration, and accountability.
     

More about this role

  • Education / Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related.

Job specific requirements: 

  • Experience in CPG companies and/or professional services firms; strong analytical or digital sourcing skills are a plus.

Travel requirements:

  • Once or twice per year.

Salary and Benefits:

The expected base salary range for this position is $102,600 CAD to $128,250 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.  In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 14% with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
