Roles & Responsibilities

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Project Manager or leading technical projects and teams
  • Strong technical background in Mainframe (COBOL, CICS, DB2) with experience transitioning to newer technologies, including cloud
  • Experience with modern technologies (MVC2 to Cloud, Web Services and APIs) and SQL Server
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Requirements:

  • Lead COBOL/Mainframe projects and manage technical teams, guiding transitions to modern technologies and cloud
  • Oversee design and delivery using Mainframe (COBOL, CICS, DB2) and modern technologies (MVC2, Cloud, Web Services, APIs) with SQL Server
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to plan, monitor, and deliver strategic technology initiatives on time and within scope
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members, ensuring best practices and quality in remote collaboration

Tecdata Engineering, empresa especializada en IT en plena expansión, requiere incorporar a su equipo un/a PM (COBOL) en Barcelona con al menos 4 años de experiencia.

  • Profesional con amplia experiencia con:

  • Mainframe (COBOL – CICS – DB2) haciendo transición a nuevas tecnologías, incluso hasta cloud.

  • Experiencia en nuevas tecnologías (desde MVC2 a Cloud, WS y APIs) contra SQL Server

  • Ingles (mínimo B2)
