  • Sourcing and recruitment: source applicants through job sites, social media, direct/indirect publicity; post ads; communicate with the booking department to meet business needs; maintain a steady flow of 20-25 new applicants daily
  • Brand promotion and candidate engagement: attend recruitment events or job fairs, create recruitment content (social posts, videos, FAQs), and engage candidates via social media and headhunting
  • Resource planning: analyze historical data to forecast resource requirements and ensure sufficient coverage in each area based on data; convert applicants into active contractors through outreach

Job description

Position: Resource Planner

Number of hours: Full-time (40hours per week)

Schedule: UK Time Zone

Job Overview:

The Resource Planner is responsible for ensuring a continuous and qualified pipeline of applicants to support operational and booking requirements. This role combines recruitment, sourcing, resource planning, and candidate engagement to maintain adequate contractor coverage aligned with business demands. The Resource Planner plays a vital role in proactively identifying talent, strengthening brand presence, and strategically planning workforce availability based on operational data.

Tasks required:

  • Applicant Management: Update applications by chasing references and pending application documents.
  • Screen CVs and perform ID checks.
  • Call candidates to verify experience and language proficiency.
  • Source a minimum of 20 to 25 new applicants daily.
  • Sourcing and Recruitment: At the heart of this role, is sourcing new applicants.
  • Source applicants through various channels, including job sites, social media, and direct/indirect publicity.
  • Post job advertisements on social media and relevant job sites.
  • Communicate with the booking department to continually source applicants according to business needs.
  • Source at least 20 to 25 new applicants daily using existing database of new applicants or via direct approach using social media.
  • Brand Promotion: Attend recruitment events or job fairs to increase brand awareness.
  • Create recruitment related social media posts, videos, marketing content, and FAQs.
  • Resource Planning: Analyze previous data to proactively plan resources strategically.
  • Ensure sufficient resources in each area based on historical data.
  • Candidate Engagement: Make calls to applicants who have applied for jobs, turning them into active contractors.
  • Engage in social media activities, including direct messaging and headhunting, to poach potential candidates/linguists.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be creative and able to take initiative.
  • Have a passion and desire for recruitment.
  • Be familiar with major social media channels.
  • Understand or be willing to research working regulations in the UK.
  • Have confidence with MS Office ( Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Be confident in sourcing and approaching potential candidates.
  • Be willing to learn and make good use of the training provided.
  • Have excellent phone and email etiquette.
  • Be organized, with very effective time management.
  • Possess effective project management skills.
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize tasks to ensure work is done to deadlines.
  • All forms of experience and demonstrable skills will be taken into account.
  • Experience in Recruitment is desirable but bespoke training will be provided to the successful candidate.
