  • Provide engineering and design oversight during installation of semiconductor manufacturing tools, reviewing and influencing electrical designs related to final power, grounding, and low-voltage system connections.
  • Develop and review technical specifications for tool installation and review vendor submittals and design deliverables to ensure compliance with client requirements and applicable codes.
  • Act as the technical owner and advocate for the electrical scope during the Tool Installation phase, guiding technical decisions in a high-technology facility.
  • Collaborate closely with facilities, construction, vendors, and internal project teams to ensure successful execution.

Qualifications:

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards.
  • Experience selecting and specifying electrical equipment and systems.
  • Proven ability to review vendor submittal against contractual and technical requirements.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary environments.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 2+ years of experience with semiconductor manufacturing tools (design, installation, or cleanroom use).
  • Field experience working directly with subcontractors and construction personnel.
  • Familiarity with BIM/CAD tools such as Revit or AutoCAD.
  • A forward-thinking mindset with a desire to learn, innovate, and continuously improve.

Additional Details:

  • This is a primarily remote role. The successful candidate will need to work onsite approximately 50% of the first month, then one week onsite per month thereafter.
  • Field work requires mobility, including walking long distances, climbing ladders, and working in active construction environments.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
