  • Lead and manage a team of International Recruitment Specialists to sell to new host employers and renew relationships within a defined territory; set sales goals and pipeline targets
  • Develop and execute regional strategic sales plans with leadership to meet/exceed seasonal goals; create outreach strategies for new and renewing hosts
  • Provide gold-standard account management for host accounts; maintain long-term relationships and identify growth and retention opportunities; ensure commitments are delivered
  • Engage in high-level sales activities including presentations to prospective/current hosts, consult on hiring strategies, and coordinate with compliance, participant services, and other internal teams to ensure host satisfaction and program quality

Who you are:  

As Host Sales Manager, you will lead a team of International Recruitment Specialists responsible for driving host employer engagement and job sales within a defined territory. Your primary focus will be guiding your team to successfully sell to new host employers while maintaining and renewing relationships with existing ones. You will coach staff on effective sales strategies, including lead generation, cold calling, presentations, and closing commitments. You’ll also support your team in ongoing account management, specifically resolving host-related issues and requests, with a focus on gold-standard service to ensure long-term client relationships.

What you’ll do: 

The Sales Manager will support the Senior Manager of CIEE Canada Direct Office in achieving annual program sales goals and long-term business development objectives for all Inbound Exchange programs related to the Canadian market. Specifically:

  • Provide sales leadership by managing a team of International Recruitment Specialists to sell to new hosts and renew existing host relationships within a defined territory.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategic sales plans for the assigned region to meet and exceed seasonal goals.
  • Set individualized sales goals and pipeline targets for team members.
  • Create outreach strategies to engage new hosts and renew existing relationships.
  • Provide gold standard account management to host accounts in your region by building long-term relationships, ensuring the international recruitment specialists are delivering on commitments, and identifying opportunities for growth and retention.
  • Participate in high-level sales activities, including presentations to prospective and current hosts.
  • Consult with hosts on hiring strategies aligned with participant availability and market trends.
  • Work cross-functionally with compliance, participant services, and other internal teams to ensure host satisfaction and program quality.
  • Ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders through proactive communication and support.


 

What you’ll bring: 

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree required. 
  • Minimum 3 - 6 years of previous sales success required, B2B and human capital solutions preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of people management experience preferred.
  • Ability to draw conclusions and create a strategy based on metrics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail required.
  • Proactive and a preference for working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with remote field staff. 
  • Ability to investigate and analyze information to draw conclusions and solve problems efficiently.
  • Energetic, personable, goal-oriented, and team-oriented.
  • Tolerance for ambiguity and a sense of humor.
  • Technology proficiency required — experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, Teams, preferred.
  • Innovative, creative, and flexible to a changing environment.
