  • Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement, prioritization, readiness, and track key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput) to drive improvements.

Description

We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master to guide, coach, and support Agile teams in delivering high-value products and solutions. The Scrum Master will serve as a servant-leader, ensuring Agile principles and practices are understood and applied, removing impediments to team progress, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role is critical in enabling cross-functional teams to collaborate effectively, maintain focus on outcomes, and deliver quality increments of value in alignment with business goals.

Agile Facilitation & Coaching

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile values, principles, and practices.
  • Encourage self-organization and accountability within the team.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Team Support & Delivery

  • Remove obstacles and impediments that hinder team progress.
  • Protect the team from external distractions and interruptions to maintain focus on priorities.
  • Ensure the team delivers commitments with transparency and predictability.
  • Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement, prioritization, and readiness.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Foster strong collaboration between team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
  • Act as a mediator and facilitator to resolve conflicts within or across teams.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly and effectively to stakeholders.

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyze key Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown, throughput) to provide insights and drive improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance team performance, quality, and value delivery.
  • Encourage experimentation, innovation, and the adoption of best practices.
  • Facilitate retrospectives to ensure actionable improvements are identified and implemented.

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience/Skills Required: 

  • 3–5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile, and Lean principles.
  • Hands-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and build trust across diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Skills: 

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification.
  • Experience working with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, or DA).
  • Background in software development, product management, or business analysis.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, or Trello.
