Roles & Responsibilities

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate in a four-year college or university; completion of freshman year or higher and in good academic standing
  • College transcripts required as part of the interview process
  • Residency in the state of Georgia (GA) with ability to commute to Emory University; remote work allowed with flexible weekly schedule
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with many competing priorities and deadlines

Requirements:

  • Conduct credentialing audits and clearance of student documents in ACEMAPP and Symplr, and organize them into digital PDFs and folders for easy access
  • Update PowerPoints and build out Smartsheet templates; perform data entry and submit clinical placement requests via ELMS systems
  • Execute compliance checkpoints for updates: verify account creation, verify account completion, and update overall status; complete Advantage Students updates
  • Support administrative and data management tasks in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accurate reports and records and assisting with learning new skills

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

  • Perform Credentialing audits
  • Updating PowerPoints
  • Building out Smartsheet templates 
  • Data Entry
  • Submitting Clinical Placement Request via various ELMS systems

Compliance:

  • Checkpoints for Updates: 
  • Verify if the account is created
  • Verify if the account fully completed
  • Update overall status
  • Complete Advantage Students updates

Credentialing:

  • Clearance of student documents in various credentialing systems like: ACEMAPP and Symplr
  • Pulling documents together in a digital pdf file and in folder for easy access for student credentialing

Required Skills:

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with many competing priorities and deadlines 
  • Ability to learn and utilize software surrounding clinical placements including Canvas, ACEMAPP, Advantage Student and Symplr 
  • Knowledge of basic hospital organization and hospital/clinic systems 
  • Excellent problem solving, negotiation, and organizational skills 
  • Exceptional computer based organizational skills including maintaining accurate and detailed reports and records 
  • Excellent public relations and communication skills using proper etiquette both electronically and interpersonally 
  • Passion for learning and acquiring new skills


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate in a college or university offering a four year degree.
  • Completion of freshman year or higher and in good academic standing. College transcripts required as part of interview process.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs.  Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
