Collaborate with teams to build and develop websites using Drupal and PHP; communicate regularly with the project manager and participate in meetings

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Web Systems Administrator (System Administrator + Drupal Development Skills). We need a Systems Administrator who speaks 'Drupal.' You will be responsible for the health of our server environment while contributing to our codebase. The position is remote and available to Philippine applicants. Must be available to work from 2pm to 11pm PH time.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsibilities:

Monitor server performance, uptime, and resource allocation.
Investigate, identify root cause, and resolve network problems following agreed procedures
Execute specific maintenance procedures effectively
Use network management software and tools proficiently to be able to collect agreed performance statistics (Cloudwatch, monitoring tools like New Relic and application logs).
Maintain all the network support process and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to procedure
Record detailed descriptions of work performed and documentation of progress
Work in teams to help build and develop websites with Drupal and PHP
Communicate regularly with project manager
Participate in meetings
Report time and work details on a daily basis

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or similar
At least 5 straight years of experience as Systems Administrator in LAMP (Apache or Nginx) environments and Drupal Development
Strong skills on Linux and bash scripting
Experience in Cloud Technologies (DNS, SSL, Email Configurations and CDN tools)
Experience with Amazon Web Service technologies (all or some of the following: EC2, ELB, Auto-Scaling, CodeDeploy, Route53, S3, EFS, EBS)
Strong problem-solving and decision making skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment
Proficient written and oral communication skills
Proficiency with working and troubleshooting business machines
Amazon Web Service certification is a plus
Experience with Continuous integration tools like Travis or Jenkins is a plus
Experience with Drupal and Drupal PaaS (Acquia / Pantheon)
Cloudflare expertise is required
Any certification in DevOps is preferred but not mandatory
