Job description

Occupational Summary:
The Clinical Coordinator (Radiologic Technology) is responsible for the effectiveness and quality of clinical education in collaboration with clinical and didactic instructors. This position oversees student learning in the clinical environment to ensure equitable experiences, compliance with program standards, and adherence to JRCERT requirements.
Faculty members contribute to the effectiveness of the University by working collaboratively on instructional policy, curriculum development, and faculty development. They serve as models of educated professionals, exemplifying the virtues they seek to inspire in students—curiosity, integrity, accountability, fairness, and respect for diversity.

Work Preformed:

  • Integrate mission values and the University’s Strategic Plan into clinical education.
  • Coordinate and oversee clinical education with clinical and didactic instructors.
  • Develop and manage student clinical schedules and assignments.
  • Ensure timely evaluation of student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Teach didactic coursework as assigned.
  • Foster a positive, equitable clinical learning environment.
  • Monitor student competencies and ensure compliance with program policies and JRCERT standards.
  • Serve as liaison with clinical sites and evaluate clinical instructors.
  • Participate in meetings, committees, and shared governance.
  • Assist with program assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain certifications, continuing education, and complete required University trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the program and School of Healthcare Professions.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of full-time experience in radiologic technology.
  • Prior teaching experience in a JRCERT-accredited program preferred.
  • Current ARRT certification and active registration in Radiography required.
  • Active licensure through the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts required.
  • Experience in curriculum development, supervision, evaluation, instruction, and student advising preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with clinical partners and faculty.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
