Ready to lead at scale? As a Brokerage 2030 Operations Manager, you will set the strategic direction for customs brokerage operations—guiding multiple teams and supervisors while advancing our vision for compliant, technology‑enabled, customer‑centric global trade.
This role is for a proven leader who can balance strategy and execution, people and technology, and risk and innovation—while delivering measurable results for customers and the business. You’ll empower supervisors, design scalable operating models, and translate enterprise strategy into operational excellence across people, processes, and platforms.
If you’re energized by complex problem‑solving, change leadership, and building the next generation of leaders, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Client Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
Serve as senior operational leader for a portfolio of clients, ensuring service delivery aligns with contractual commitments, regulatory requirements, and long‑term customer value.
Partner with Sales, Solutions, Pricing, and Implementations to shape go‑to‑market strategy, evaluate complex opportunities, and support sustainable growth.
Establish clear service expectations and escalation models, ensuring rapid resolution of cross‑team or enterprise‑level issues.
Champion a client‑first mindset across teams, using performance metrics and feedback to continuously elevate the customer experience.
People Leadership & Talent Development
Lead, coach, and develop supervisors—building a strong leadership bench and succession pipeline.
Set clear performance expectations and accountability frameworks aligned to business goals.
Drive workforce planning strategies, balancing capacity, skill sets, and technology‑enabled productivity.
Model inclusive, empowering leadership that promotes engagement, growth, and shared ownership of results.
Technology & Digital Transformation Leadership
Drive adoption and optimization of brokerage technologies, automation, and AI‑enabled tools at scale.
Translate business needs into technology requirements—partnering with IT, Product, and Data to enhance system performance and usability.
Lead operational readiness for new tools, including change management, training strategies, and success measurement.
Foster a culture of digital fluency, ensuring leaders and teams leverage technology to improve speed, quality, and insight.
Operating Model, Process Architecture & Continuous Improvement
Design and evolve scalable operating models that align people, process, and technology across the brokerage organization.
Set standards for process design, documentation, and governance—ensuring consistency while allowing flexibility for client needs.
Use data and insights to identify systemic inefficiencies and prioritize improvement initiatives with measurable ROI.
Sponsor and review continuous‑improvement initiatives, ensuring solutions are sustainable, repeatable, and enterprise‑ready.
Program Leadership, Compliance & Risk Ownership
Own end‑to‑end delivery of initiatives that span teams, clients, systems, and regulatory requirements—ensuring outcomes are compliant, scalable, and operationally sustainable.
Establish clear success metrics, governance models, and risk controls for initiatives, balancing business objectives with regulatory integrity.
Serve as the escalation point for complex or high‑risk operational and compliance matters, providing decisive leadership and subject‑matter guidance.
Partner closely with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Technology, and Operations leaders to identify trends, mitigate exposure, and proactively adapt to regulatory or operational change.
Ensure initiatives result in durable capabilities through well‑defined processes, controls, training, and oversight—not one‑time improvements.
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders and cross‑functional partners, reinforcing accountability and transparency throughout execution.
Ensure supervisors and teams are equipped with the tools, training, and governance needed to operate confidently, compliantly, and at scale.
What Success Looks Like
