Are you curious about being part of our growth story while evolving your skills in a culture that will welcome your unique contributions? If so, let's start the conversation.
Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and versatile Senior Software Engineer to join our Incubation team.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading technical discovery and preliminary development efforts that establish the foundation for new, innovative solutions to go to market. You will bridge the gap between conceptual ideas and scalable digital products, building Proof of Concepts and Minimum Viable Products that solve complex customer challenges.
You will join a high-agility, remote-first team of innovators dedicated to assessing idea viability and engineering technologies that expand Iron Mountain’s global suite of digital solutions.
In this role, you will:
Lead Technical Product Evolution: Drive the design and development of innovative product concepts, Proof of Concepts, and Minimum Viable Products by exploring and implementing emerging technologies to evaluate their feasibility.
Collaborate Across Business Units: Partner closely with Product Owners, Enterprise Information Technology, and the Digital Business Unit to ensure all incubated solutions are technically sound and operationally consistent with organizational standards.
Execute Full-Lifecycle Engineering: Architect and implement features that promote production readiness—including scalability, security, and observability—while leading the successful transition of maturing products to their permanent business units.
The ideal candidate will have:
8+ years of professional development experience working across all tiers of a modern application stack in a fast-paced or start-up environment.
Deep technical expertise in modern front-end frameworks (such as React), object-oriented middle-tier languages (such as Java, C#, or Python), and public cloud environments (such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
Proven ability in technical discovery and architecture, with a track record of building multiple full life-cycle web development projects and making pragmatic technology choices to achieve business goals.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) and a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical ideas to diverse stakeholders fluently in English.
Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with senior-level experience.
Flexible, 100% remote work options to support work–life balance.
Comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement plans.
Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth within a team that thrives on change.
Generous paid time off and holiday schedules.
