Job Description:

Senior Consultant is responsible to provide subject-matter expertise, thought leadership, adoption guidance and solution/technical specialization within and/or across Broadcom’s TopSecret Mainframe Security product or solutions in a manner that best positions Broadcom against our competition. The building of customer, partner and prospect relationships to better understand their business and IT challenges is absolutely critical to the success of this position.

Product Specialist Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain deep knowledge of assigned product capabilities, in this case our Mainframe Security Solutions, and how they provide value to clients
  • Have a thorough knowledge with regard to the competitive marketplace
  • Be able to articulate the value that products deliver to customer initiatives
  • Deliver technical presentations, demos, POCs, RFx responses
  • Install and configure assigned products in customer environments
  • Understand and be able to identify client needs for ALL products in the Broadcom/CA portfolio
  • Participate in opportunity planning with sales

User, Administrative or Implementation experience with Top Secret, CEM, Cleanup, AAM,, TAMz and other industry leading security solutions. Window, Unix, Linux, Client Server, workload Agent experience is preferred. 10 plus years of mainframe operations and/or system programming experience required.

Preferred Education

Bachelors or global equivalent in Computer Science or a related degree and 8+ years of related experience or Masters degree and 6+ years of related experience

Work Experience

Typically 8 or more years of detailed technical industry related experience. Experience working with customers, sales personnel and/or customer services. Experience in the related industry disciplines and technologies and related application experience (i.e. Microsoft Office, Google Suite as well as operating system administration). Experience resolving more complex technical issues and integration of multiple products to create solutions.

Preference given to candidates reporting to Plano, TX Office

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $88,300- $141,300. 

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
