Our client is a growing residential and commercial property management firm based in Louisville, KY. We manage a diverse portfolio of over 350 units, ranging from single-family homes to multifamily and commercial spaces.
We are a lean, pragmatic team that values high-quality output and long-term partnerships. We are currently seeking an Customer support Agent to support our leasing operations and help streamline our transition into a more robust management phase.
Your primary mission is to support property management for 350+ residential units (single family, multifamily, commercial) through efficient, tech-driven leasing cycles.
Appfolio Management: Act as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Appfolio, managing all aspects of the leasing module.
Application Processing: Manage the end-to-end rental application lifecycle, ensuring rigorous screening and quick turnaround times.
Vacancy Control: Proactively fill vacancies with qualified candidates to minimize lost revenue.
Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective tenants via professional phone and email correspondence.
Software Transition: Support the ongoing optimization of our processes as we leverage Appfolio to its full potential (transitioning from Buildium).
We are looking for a "plug-and-play" professional who requires minimal hand-holding and delivers high-accuracy work.
Expert-Level Appfolio Proficiency: This is non-negotiable. You must be able to navigate, troubleshoot, and optimize this platform from day one.
Experience: 3–5 years in property management, leasing, or high-level administrative support within the real estate sector.
Linguistic Skills: Native or near-native English fluency (client-facing). Proficiency in Spanish is required.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations with grace and professionalism.
Reliability: A proven track record of being a self-starter who hits deadlines in a remote environment.
You have a history of successfully migrating data or processes between property management platforms (specifically Buildium to Appfolio).
You can demonstrate a "high-volume" mindset—handling hundreds of units without letting quality slip.
You are a "process-first" thinker who suggests improvements rather than just following a checklist.
