Title: Product Marketing Manager - Mortgage Loan Products
Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000 per year, DOE
Location: US - Remote or hybrid (**If living within 31 miles of Santa Ana, CA or Austin, TX will need to be able to work 4 days on-site**)
Position Overview: As Product Marketing Manager for Mortgage Loan Products, you’ll develop and execute marketing strategies for our diverse loan portfolio (Conventional, Non-QM, FHA, VA, Jumbo, brokered products). This is an AI-first role where speed and efficiency using AI tools are critical to success. You’ll create compelling, compliant marketing materials while ensuring adherence to UDAAP, fair lending principles, RESPA Section 8, and disclosure requirements. You’ll collaborate with Retail Marketing team members who liaise with Sales, while also engaging directly with Retail and Consumer Direct Sales teams on complex initiatives. Your ability to leverage AI and automation to accelerate strategic content creation, optimize workflows, and maximize output quality will be the key differentiator for success in this position.
Responsibilities:Product Marketing & Content
• Develop go-to-market strategies and competitive positioning for loan products across customer and partner segments
• Create comprehensive marketing materials (product sheets, guides, flyers, emails, presentations, video scripts, social media)
• Utilize AI-powered tools to accelerate content creation and generate creative variations
• Review and approve content submitted through retail channels, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and compliance
• Audit and refresh existing assets based on guideline updates, leveraging AI to identify optimization opportunities
• Transform Sales team needs into compelling, conversion-focused marketing materials
Compliance & Regulatory
• Ensure all materials comply with UDAAP regulations and fair lending principles
• Maintain RESPA Section 8 compliance in all marketing activities and partnerships
• Coordinate with Legal and Compliance team on required disclosures and regulatory updates
• Translate complex mortgage guidelines into clear, compliant marketing messages
Stakeholder Management & Execution
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Product, Compliance, and Legal teams
• Provide marketing support to help distribution channels promote loan products effectively
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional organization
• Monitor performance metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
• Leverage AI-driven analytics and insights to accelerate decision-making and optimize marketing effectiveness
• Compile research, competitive analysis, and data into stakeholder presentations
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications, or equivalent relevant experience
• 2-5 years’ B2B & B2C marketing experience in mortgage or lending industry
• Working knowledge of mortgage loan products (Conventional, Non-QM, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, portfolio, brokered)
• Working knowledge of mortgage regulatory requirements:
– UDAAP compliance
– Fair lending laws (ECOA, Fair Housing Act)
– RESPA Section 8 anti-kickback provisions
– Required disclosures (Loan Estimate, Closing Disclosure)
• Ability to interpret mortgage guidelines and create compliant marketing campaigns
• Exceptional organizational, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance
Preferred
• Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Canva
• Proficiency with AI-powered marketing tools (content generation, design automation, analytics)
• Asana or similar project management platform experience
• NMLS license or loan origination experience
• Demonstrated ability to leverage technology for increased efficiency
