Roles & Responsibilities

Job description

Bengali Language Verifier

Location: Remote

Status: Project-Based (Contract)

Compensation: a fixed fee

Benefits: Flexible schedule, work from home

JOB SUMMARY

Language verifiers’ duties include creating language verification tests, quality control of existing language verification tests, evaluating language test submissions, and doing quality control on audio and video files. Language verifiers create language verification tests following detailed instructions that will be provided upon employment. The nature of the role is ongoing and project-based. The workload is dependent on project needs. Payment is based on work completed at the rates listed below.

Language verification test review - USD $50, one-time fee
Language verification test grading - USD $15 per graded submission

Please note: the number of reviews required is to be determined and is dependent on project needs

RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out assigned tasks, see above

SKILLS

REQUIREMENTS

Previous professional experience working in the required language
Formal education in the required language, secondary school or higher, strongly preferred
Masters or Phd in Linguistics, Translation Studies, or the required language, preferred
