Project Context

This role will support a large-scale enterprise delivery program focused on building and evolving digital platforms and data-driven solutions. The environment requires a strong focus on creating intuitive user experiences for complex systems, where bridging the gap between design and robust frontend engineering is critical to visualizing data and delivering high-quality platforms.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Developer (Front-End Engineer) to drive the development of highly interactive, responsive, and accessible web applications. The role focuses on implementing scalable component-based architectures, collaborating closely with design and engineering teams, and translating complex data into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.

The selected professional will work alongside Product, Design, and Backend Engineering stakeholders to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, build data-heavy dashboards, and maintain high standards of code quality within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Development: Develop and maintain scalable user-facing features utilizing React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Component Architecture: Design, build, and optimize reusable component-based architectures to ensure consistency and speed of development across the platform.
• UI/UX Implementation: Bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, translating wireframes and usability principles into functional, high-quality code.
• Responsive & Accessible Design: Ensure all applications are fully responsive across various devices and strictly adhere to modern accessibility standards.
• Data Visualization: Architect and develop data-heavy user interfaces, including complex interactive charts and dashboards.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams to deliver iterative value.
• Engineering Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and support the integration of frontend applications within CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React, including hooks and state management.
• Solid expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven experience working with and designing component-based architectures.
• Deep understanding of responsive design principles and web accessibility guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively within Agile teams.

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Experience working with Design systems (e.g., Storybook, custom component libraries).
• Hands-on experience with modern UI frameworks such as Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of UX methodologies, including working with wireframes and applying usability principles.
• Prior experience building and optimizing data-heavy UIs (charts, complex tables, dashboards).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for frontend applications.

Work Modality

• Remote position from LATAM.
• Working hours aligned with Central Time (United States).
