Agentic Operator - Growth Marketing - LLM Visibility, SEO, Website (USA Only - 100% Remote)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • 8-12 years in growth at a SaaS or PLG company, owning website performance and trial funnel optimization with a track record of experiments and learnings.
  • Hands-on: write copy, pull data, brief engineers, review designs, and ship.
  • Proficient in traditional SEO (technical, on-page, authority) with informed opinions on how LLM-powered answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) surface SaaS content.
  • Technical ability to read HTML/CSS/JS and make copy changes close to the codebase without a ticket queue.

Requirements:

  • Own the website-to-trial lifecycle: roadmap, landing-page architecture, conversion surface messaging, trial signup flow, and pricing page to convert traffic into active trials.
  • Build and operate an AI-assisted experimentation machine: hypothesis generation, variant production, QA, launch, and readouts; ship 2-4+ experiments per month.
  • Lead AI-native website and SEO strategy: personalized landing experiences by source, AI-generated copy and content briefs, and define/ship the AI-native website at Close.
  • Win at LLM-powered search and ensure a seamless activation path: optimize for AI discovery, track performance, and maintain a cohesive website → trial → activation experience.

Job description

We're hiring an AI-charged growth operator to own the website and trial funnel at Close.

Your job will be everything from the moment a visitor lands on close.com to the moment they're an active trial. Every page, every headline, every CTA, every step of the signup flow. You own the website as a growth product.

This is one of the highest-leverage surfaces in the entire growth engine. At Close's traffic volume, a single experiment win on the homepage or trial flow compounds for years. And you'll know within days whether something is working.

To be clear: we’re not just looking for a CRO lead with a backlog and some tickets. We want an operator who builds an agent-augmented testing machine - one person, plus the right systems, shipping the experimentation output of a team of five and driving huge impact.

You are

  • Conversion-obsessed. You're the kind of person who notices a button label is off and immediately wants to test a fix. You treat the website like a product - always with a roadmap, always with a hypothesis, always with something running.

  • An AI-native operator. You use it to run experiments you couldn't run before - synthetic copy tests at scale, instant page variants, agent-driven competitive teardowns, automated experiment readouts that catch wins you'd miss reading dashboards. The first time you do something, you do it. The second time, you build the agent that does it for you.

  • Hands-on. You write the copy, pull the data, brief the engineer, review the design, and ship. If your best work depended on a large team or a dedicated analytics partner, this is not the right role.

  • Literate in modern search. You understand traditional SEO - technical, on-page, authority - and you have real opinions about how LLM-powered answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) discover and surface SaaS content.

  • Technical enough to be dangerous. You can read HTML/CSS/JS, you work close to the code layer, and you don't need a ticket queue to make a copy change.

  • A systems thinker. You think in CAC, LTV, payback. You have opinions on how channel strategy connects to landing page experience. You see the website as one connected system, not a collection of pages and you build agent workflows that treat it that way.

  • 8-12 years in growth at a SaaS or PLG company, owning website performance and trial funnel optimization. You can point to specific experiments, what they tested, and what you learned. We especially like the failures.

You will

  • Own everything between traffic and trial. The website roadmap, the landing page architecture, the messaging on every conversion surface, the trial signup flow, the pricing page. The Head of Distribution hands you traffic. You turn it into trials.

  • Build the testing machine, then run it. Most CRO programs ship 2-4 experiments a month. We expect you to ship more - because you've built agent-assisted workflows for hypothesis generation, variant production, QA, launch, and readout.

  • Make AI core to how the website actually works. Personalized landing experiences by source. Copy variants generated and tested in hours instead of weeks. Content briefs and page drafts that come out of an agent loop, not a freelancer queue. You'll define what "AI-native website" means at Close and ship it.

  • Win at LLM-powered search. Build the systems that get Close cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini for the queries that matter. Track it, optimize for it, and treat it as a real channel.

  • Connect cleanly into product activation. The trial signup flow hands off to the Product Growth team. You make sure the website → trial → activation path feels like one elegant experience, not three.

  • Prove it's working. Visitor → trial conversion, trial signup volume, experiment velocity and win rate. If you've been here six months and the numbers look the same, something is wrong.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation including an organization-wide goal-based bonus

  • Paid Time Off: 5 Weeks PTO upon joining + Winter Holiday Break. Each year with the company, you'll receive 2 extra PTO days.

  • 80% Work Option: Work with your manager to choose between working 5 day weeks (standard full-time) or 4 day weeks @ 80% pay

  • Paid Parental Leave for primary and secondary caregivers

  • Sabbatical: After 5 years with the team, you're eligible for a 1 month paid sabbatical

  • Healthcare (US residents): Medical, Dental, Vision with HSA option, Dependent care FSA

  • 401k (US residents): We match 6% contributions with immediate vesting
