Requirements:

  • Perform routine data maintenance in CRM/ERM systems (e.g., deduplicating contacts, updating incomplete or unassociated records) and uphold data governance standards
  • Create and manage mailing lists in collaboration with Sector Markets and verify client contact information from firm mailings, including handling returned or bounced mail
  • Execute searches and exports in DealCloud; monitor folder administration and archiving; update matter and deal data in Foundation in collaboration with BD
  • Contribute to data for submission packets and league tables; ensure data cycles in submission and league table processes are complete

Job description

Overview:

Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for Business Development Operations Coordinator that could be based in any of our U.S. offices and consideration given for 100% remote US locations.

 

The Role: The BD Operations Coordinator assists with maintaining and updating the firm’s data systems of record including the CRM (customer relationship management), the ERM (experience relationship management), and other systems of record that comprise the firm’s data strategy and data footprint. This role performs general internal and external searches to provide data to members of BD and the rest of the firm and to update our data, leveraging AI where appropriate. Lastly, this position should adhere to the tenants of data governance stewardship.

Responsibilities:
  • Process routine data maintenance of suspect data entries, such as duplicate contacts, incomplete records and unassociated contacts, as well as others.
  • Create mailing lists in collaboration with Sector & Markets
  • Correct, verify and input client contact mailing information generated from firm mailings; this includes returned mailings and electronic bounce-back mailings.
  • Perform searches and exports within DealCloud (CRM) in response to requests
  • Monitor folder administration and archiving in DealCloud
  • In coordination with members of the BD Department, update data in Foundation (ERM) including matter and deal descriptions
  • Participate in the compilation of data for submission packets and league table submissions
  • Ensure the data cycle within the submission and league table processes is complete including, but not limited to adding data into Foundation
Qualifications:
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required.
  • Familiarity with external and internal searches to verify information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and multitask assignments, and to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation required.

Compensation and Benefits

 

The expected salary range for this position is between:

  • New York City, Silicon Valley, and San Francisco $55,000 - $75,000
  • Washington DC, Los Angeles, Orange County, Santa Monica, Sacramento, Boston, and Seattle $52,000 - $75,000
  • All Other US Locations $50,000 - $72,000

Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick’s estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography.  Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
