Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Law
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar HR role with strong labor law knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English

Requirements:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions; manage ERGANI processes and submissions; draft, review, and iterate on employment contracts and HR documentation; act as a reference for HR-related legal queries
  • Own and maintain employee data in HR systems (e.g., BambooHR) with high accuracy; improve HR processes and workflows; support reporting, audits, and data consistency across systems; handle the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
  • Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of HR policies and internal processes; help standardize practices across regions; identify inefficiencies and proactively suggest improvements
  • Support employee well-being programs and organize the annual company meetup and related events; collaborate with the People, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams; align HR processes with broader business needs; act as a bridge between operational execution and strategic initiatives

 This international team is seeking a People & Development Specialist based in Greece.

Responsibilities

Legal & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory frameworks across different jurisdictions
  • Manage and oversee ERGANI processes and submissions
  • Draft, review, and iterate on employment contracts and legal documentation
  • Act as a point of reference for HR-related legal queries

HR Operations & Systems

  • Own and maintain employee data in HR systems (e.g. BambooHR) with high accuracy
  • Improve and streamline HR processes and workflows
  • Support reporting, audits, and data consistency across systems
  • Handle employee lifecycle operations (onboarding β†’ changes β†’ offboarding)

Policy & Process Development

  • Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of HR policies and internal processes
  • Help standardize practices across regions
  • Identify inefficiencies and proactively suggest improvements

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Support and help manage employee well-being programs and initiatives
  • Contribute to the planning and organization of the annual company meetup and related events

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with People team, Legal, Finance, and Operations
  • Support alignment between HR processes and broader business needs
  • Act as a bridge between operational execution and strategic initiatives

Analytical & Problem-Solving Work

  • Handle complex or ambiguous HR cases requiring judgment and analysis
  • Support decision-making through data, structure, and process thinking

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
