Sigvaris is currently looking for a Global Director of Product & Marketing Oedema to join our team. As a leading compression solution provider, we are not just a company that manufactures products. We are a global team on a mission to help people feel their best. 


This position is remote, but you must live within the East region AND you must live near a major airport.


This position has travel requirements of 30-40% international and overnight travel.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     • Defining the vision, objectives, strategy and roadmap for the indication.

     • Conducting a global market analysis (needs, trends, competition, clinical insights), including customer feedback and sales data.

     • Continuously developing, evaluating and managing the global product portfolio, and determining for each product (each series) whether it can be 'globalized' or not (including MCS standards).

     • Conducting regular portfolio reviews with cross-functional stakeholders discontinue/continue reposition.

     • Defining and prioritizing user needs, clinical outcomes and functional requirements to determine future product launches.

     • Developing key global messages and value propositions tailored to patients, healthcare professionals and the point of sale.

     • Leading the development of global brand toolkits and campaign content.

     • Setting and monitoring global and local product/indication performance based on defined KPIs such as revenue, gross margin, innovation revenue and number of new product launches.

     • Leading, coaching and developing direct reports by setting and monitoring their performance and development goals.

     • Accurately perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned to ensure an efficient workflow.


Requirements


EDUCATION and WORK EXPERIENCE:

     • Must have a bachelor's degree.  A master's degree in business administration, marketing, life sciences or a related field is highly preferred.

     • Extensive experience in marketing, product management or business leadership within the medical devices or life sciences sector, ideally with experience in vascular or oedema-related therapies.

     • Proven track record in defining and implementing global product strategies, including portfolio management, product launches and lifecycle optimization across various regions.

     • Experience in leading international teams


CORE COMPETENCIES:

     • Ability to collaborate effectively with others, interact with diverse individuals across different markets and build strong relationships.

     • Strong analytical skills, a networked mindset and strategic approach.

     • Fluent in English; German and/or French highly preferred.

     

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

     • Must be able to do 30-40% international and overnight travel.
