Your Next Challenge

Join our client’s team as a Database Administrator and become a key contributor in a multi-project environment focused on core software layers. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong performance tuning skills who enjoys working with complex, interconnected database systems and delivering high-performance, reliable solutions.​

What You’ll Work On

  • Analyzing and tuning Linux-based mid-to-large DB2 database instances.
  • Maintaining and improving core datasets that support daily business operations.
  • Performing deep-dive troubleshooting across interconnected database environments.
  • Optimizing statements and procedures to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Contributing to the evolution of existing frameworks and helping define future solutions.
  • Delivering implementations that are reliable, scalable, high-performing, and responsive.
  • Working in multidisciplinary teams alongside developers, architects, mainframe specialists, and operations teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in administration and troubleshooting of IBM DB2 LUW databases.
  • Strong expertise in performance tuning, including statement and procedure optimization.
  • Experience working in high-performance and complex environments.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux administration (SLES, CentOS).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
  • Experience integrating DB2 LUW with tools such as Siebel or Cognos.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • English B2, mandatory​
