Hello! We are GoFasti, a Talent-as-a-Service. GoFasti bridges the gap between world-class developers and designers from LatAm and first-class companies around the globe.

We need an English-fluent Mid-level software engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:

Build and ship features end-to-end using TypeScript across backend and frontend
Develop and maintain serverless APIs (AWS API Gateway + Lambda)
Work on a modern frontend with Next.js, deployed via S3 + CloudFront
Design and implement systems that process biomarker and health data
Integrate and apply AI/ML models to generate user-facing insights
Use Supabase for authentication and database interactions
Collaborate directly with the founder(s) on product and technical decisions
Continuously improve performance, reliability, and developer experience

Requirements:

3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
MUST: Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript
Experience building APIs and working with backend systems (serverless is a plus)
MUST: Solid understanding of modern frontend frameworks (Next.js or React)
MUST: Basic knowledge of AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3)
Experience working with data-driven systems
MUST : Some hands-on experience applying AI/ML (e.g. using APIs, building data pipelines, or working with models in production)
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of features
Clear communicator in a remote, async environment
Ok with overlapping with EU time zones

It´s a plus:

Familiarity with Supabase or similar tools (Postgres, auth systems)
Experience with LLMs or AI tooling (e.g. OpenAI APIs, embeddings, data pipelines)
Experience in startups or small, fast-moving teams
Interest in health, fitness, or longevity

Compensation:

The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $3,000 - $4,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
