Roles & Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in a similar marine/offshore role with knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong organizational, coordination and multi-tasking abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder and crew resource management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and other vessel management systems; experience in crewing/administration within the offshore industry is advantageous.
  • Current BOSIET with CA-EBS and OEUK medical certification, or ability to obtain prior to start; willingness to work offshore remotely on a rotational roster.

Requirements:

  • Provide administration and logistical support on vessels in accordance with DOF standards.
  • Support DOF Australia's Project and Marine teams with logistics, administrative and crew resource management tasks in compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Vessel Masters, Offshore Managers, Offshore Crews and the Crewing team to enable seamless offshore activities.
  • Coordinate offshore operations remotely on a rotational roster, ensuring safety, compliance and efficient execution of activities.

Job description

Join DOF as a Casual Offshore Vessel Coordinator!

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Vessel Coordinator to join our Crewing team on a casual basis. As the Offshore Vessel Coordinator, you will be responsible for administration and logistical support, in accordance with DOF standards, on our vessels. These are casual positions working remotely with a rotational rostered pattern.

The successful individual will be pivotal in supporting DOF Australia's Project and Marine teams with various logistics, administrative and crew resource management tasks in compliance with regulatory frameworks. You will establish and maintain strong relationships with the various stakeholders that include Vessel Masters, Offshore Managers, Offshore Crew and the Crewing team to support the seamless execution of the offshore activities.

Requirements

    • Proven experience in a similar role within the marine and/or similar offshore environment is essential.
    • Experienced with marine/project operations including the safety protocols and compliance regulatory obligations.
    • Strong organisational, coordination and multi-tasking skills to manage a robust environment.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office packages particularly with Excel, including other vessel management systems.
    • Experience in crewing and/or administration within the offshore industry is beneficial.
    • Hold a current or be able to obtain a BOSIET with CA-EBS certification and a valid OEUK medical certification is required.
    • Possess a resilient, adaptable and flexible approach to meet challenging operational requirements.
    • Able to work Offshore and remotely, with rotational rostered patterns.
